As we conclude our Soft Start introduction to the school year next week, it is important for teachers to begin content instruction by identifying students' strengths and needs.  This Intro to iReady: Family Video explains how the iReady diagnostic test provides teachers, students, and families with valuable information to plan instruction and set learning goals.

Backpacks For Kids Campaign

For the 20/21 school year, the Backpacks for Kids campaign is changing just a bit with the times. Instead of backpacks, the Northshore Schools Foundation will be providing at home school supply packs upon request.

At this time, we plan for our students to begin the 2020-21 school year with a more robust and flexible 100% distance learning model through Northshore Learns 3.0, using a staged approach for in person re-entry to school.

Our district has a number of resources to support families during the summer months. These include online summer enrichment and learning resources, community assistance resources, and free summer meals.


We are waiting on state and district guidelines with regards to middle school sports for the 2020/21 school year. There are currently no Season 1 sports scheduled for fall.
